The Brief:

Our client, a leading expert in M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) banking with over 35 years of experience and offices worldwide, was looking to deploy hybrid working tools that delivered a more immersive experience for their staff as part of an office move in Central London.

After reviewing working patterns and in-person versus remote meeting needs, the client recognised the importance of investing in meeting spaces that delivered the best audio and video experience for their employees and clients and with global clients spanning the media, marketing and IT sectors.
One of the project’s critical success factors was to invest in technology that delivered the best possible experience, regardless of whether the meeting participant was in the same room or joining the meeting from the other side of the world.

With multiple meeting rooms, an executive Boardroom, small breakout spaces that needed to be enabled for ad-hoc video meetings and open areas for small, local huddles, Lewcon AV wanted to design solutions that were easy to adopt across the organisation but also delivered a superior experience that was also future-proofed to meet the changing demands of the client and their customers.

The Solution

To ensure the client enjoyed the best video experience, we installed Logitech video collaboration solutions across the entire meeting estate, offering state-of-the-art technology that is universally compatible to work seamlessly across laptops, tablets and smart devices. With advanced audio engineering, Logitech solutions (we chose the Logitech Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini) deliver stunning AI image quality across the client’s meeting room estate, facilitating crisp, clear, high-resolution image quality with fluid, cinematic clarity.

We enhanced the audio experience within the meeting spaces and Boardroom with table-top microphones to ensure every voice is heard with pin-point accuracy while reducing background noise simultaneously, while an in-room dedicated PC delivered a uniform, walk-up and use experience in every meeting space.

In the executive Boardroom, we deployed Barco ClickShare for instant wireless connectivity across multiple devices and a Kramer Control system that delivered quick and easy control of all in-room AV and automation devices in the space from one central iPad.

Video booths were deployed around the site for employees to have more personal video meetings with remote participants, and these were enhanced with 27” desktop monitors with in-built microphones and web cameras delivering plug-and-play functionality with users’ laptops.
Lastly, in the open breakout area, we installed the latest, multi-functional Samsung Frame TV that enhances the space’s aesthetics, whether turned on or off.

We worked with Lewcon on our AV needs across many meeting rooms and common spaces in our brand-new office in early 2023. Lewcon was nothing short of fantastic, from the initial meetings to the many different specifications we had, from the varied quotations we asked for to answering many questions without too much-complicated tech jargon. They were careful to ensure we were aware of everything that would be done and the associated timelines, costs and work. Lewis, Connor and every team member was punctual, professional, and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. The installation went without significant issues, and Lewcon’s training was easy to follow and thorough.
